Overview
The yoga of sound
Sound is one of the simplest, most profound tools we have to shift the energy of a room, to regulate the nervous system, to deepen presence, to open the heart. Over three days together you will be immersed in the lineage of Sacred Sound, learning how to play Himalayan singing bowls, hold sacred singing space, work with mantra, and craft a complete sound bath of your own.
This is a training for yoga teachers, ceremonialists, retreat hosts and seekers of personal enrichment, for anyone wishing to bring sound into the spaces they hold. Instruments are provided. No previous musical experience is needed. What is asked is presence, curiosity and a willingness to find the heart in your own voice.
"Anne is an extraordinary sound explorer and healer. Her musical journeys are incredible soundscapes for the yoga of life." - Shiva Rea, Yoga Teacher & Collaborator

What Our Students Say
What our students say
"Anne is so giving and open and talented. There's so much more to this course than the practical's of learning how to play the instruments – learning about holding space, about ceremony, about not being afraid to show our true personalities. Anne teaches from the heart and she is so inspirational."
Pam S, Sacred Sound Trainee"Anne crafted a welcoming, authentic experience that facilitated our learning in the best way possible. It was rich, full and playful, beautifully held and full of useful content."
Sacred Sound Trainee"Healing, soothing, purifying and richly evocative – I felt cleansed and cradled, held and heart–opened by the journey."
SH, Sacred Sound Trainee"The music is sublime, played on an assortment of instruments, and Anne's stunning voice transports the room to a haven of tranquility. Sound actually becomes physical when Anne places a singing bowl on the body – its vibrations coursing through every cell."
Michael Reece, Sacred Sound Trainee"This was utterly brilliant. Anne is the real deal."
Sacred Sound Trainee“Anne’s hang playing seems to come from another, more beautiful universe and beckons us to ‘come along, come along"
