Yoga Anatomy Embodied Wisdom
with Melanie CooperA foundational, bite-sized journey through the anatomy and physiology every yoga teacher needs — built for confidence, not cramming.
Overview
Anatomy as a doorway, not a hurdle
The human body is a masterpiece of engineering — and the one place we inhabit twenty-four hours a day. This course gives you essential insight into anatomy and physiology as it applies to yoga: the mechanics of breath and bandhas, and the understanding that underpins safe, confident sequencing and alignment.
Anatomy is often one of the hardest subjects to hold onto — dense terminology and unfamiliar concepts that sit outside everyday knowledge. This course meets that challenge with a series of accessible, bite-sized videos designed for micro-learning, so the material actually sticks. Short quizzes after each chapter help reinforce and consolidate what you've covered.
Take this as a stand-alone CPD toward your Yoga Alliance teacher requirements, or as an optional module on the 300-hour programme.
"Explained in a way that's fully grounded in yoga practice and teaching — with plenty of myth-busting of outdated ideas along the way."
