Menopause Yoga Toolkit | Evidence-Informed for Perimenopause and Beyond
with Dina CohenAnyone with ovaries will, at some stage, move through the menopausal portal. This one-day training offers an evidence-informed understanding of the hormonal, physical and emotional shifts of this life stage, a map to help you adapt your practice and your teaching to truly serve yourself, or the students in front of you. Space to learn, question, and sit honestly with a transformational time.
Overview
What to Expect When You're Exploding: Hot, Wise and Unfiltered
Rooted in both current evidence and the lived wisdom of women's bodies, this course moves deep into the menopausal transition – from the first whispers of perimenopause through to the "Second Spring."
We explore the hormonal landscape and what it means for the nervous system, the musculoskeletal system, energy, body temperature and sleep, alongside the emotional journey that runs alongside all of it.
Expect an immersive, honest and deeply practical day weaving together physiology, psychology, nervous system science, and the real, unfiltered stories of women in this transition. We draw from the full range of yoga practices – dynamic movement, restorative yoga, breathwork, Yoga Nidra and meditation – to build a toolbox that's both relevant to the symptoms women most commonly face, and honest in how it's applied.
"Menopause is not a malfunction. It is one of the most profound physiological and psychological transitions a woman ever moves through – and until recently, it was navigated without a map."
